Buy a domain or hosting
You can find a domain or a hosting plan in your host’s shop and pay for it in one checkout.
Find a domain
Section titled “Find a domain”- On your host’s shop, type a name in Search for a domain name and choose Search.
- The results show each ending with its price per year. A name shows as available only when the registry has said so.
- Choose Add beside the name you want. It changes to In cart.
Some endings, such as .rw, need a document that shows who you are. The results say so, and you upload it at checkout.
Already own the name somewhere else? Choose I already own this name · transfer it. See Transfer a domain in.
Choose hosting
Section titled “Choose hosting”- Choose Hosting at the top of the shop.
- Pick a plan and choose Choose. If the plan has a free trial, the button says Start the free trial.
A trial costs nothing today. Your cart shows when the first payment is due, and your host texts you before it ends.
Check out
Section titled “Check out”- Open Cart. Check Your cart, change How many years for a domain, and add a code under I have a coupon code if you have one.
- Choose Continue to your details.
- Fill in who will own the name: A business or Myself, the name, Phone, Email, Street address and Town or city. Choose Continue to pay.
- If you are new, we email a code to the address you gave. Type it and choose Verify and continue. This creates your account. Already have one? Choose I already have an account · sign in.
- Under How do you want to pay?, choose a Payment method.
- Tick the box to accept the terms of service and the refund policy.
- Choose the pay button. It names the amount and the method, for example Pay RWF 12,000 with MoMo. For a card it says Continue to card payment.
With MoMo, approve the payment on your phone. Nothing is taken until you approve it. With a card, you type your card on the card provider’s secure page, not in the shop.
After you pay, you get a receipt and an invoice by email. Your services show in your client area under Websites and Domains.
